Four of my guitar students showed up to play at the benefit concert at The Cabana for Taylor Ferguson. For three of them, it was their first gig! They faced their fears and DID IT! Now they've got "the fever" and can't wait to play in public again!

From left to right: Millie, Haley, Stephen and Kyle.
Haley opened up the show with "God Bless America" and a loud "Get well soon, Taylor!" She did a fantastic job!
Stephen, Kyle and Millie played "Sweet Home Alabama" together. Stephen did the lead, Kyle played rhythm and Millie sang.
Stephen and I played a couple of numbers together that we had been practicing. Here we are, getting ready to start.
Playing our tunes!
More playing!
Kyle, after playing "Sunshine Of Your Love." He did an awesome job and is really into classic rock!
Millie, playing one of her originals. She wowed the crowd!
Looking goofy! Ha, ha. I was talking, probably apologizing for the "brief heart attack" our PA system caused!
Playing "Johnny B. Goode". This was the first song I ever learned to play. I could play it in my sleep! I always open up shows with this song.

"Johnny B. Goode"
I love to close my eyes and play a long blues lead that I feel deep down in my soul. This is the way I pray.
Playing the blues lead with my eyes closed. It's nothing methodical. It comes straight from the soul.
Playing an original.
Playing another original.
And playing yet some more.
The last song at the end of the show.
Millie's family. From left: Miles, Michael and Beth.
